SPRINGDALE -- The Fayetteville Lady Bulldogs came up with a big finish to advance to the Class 6A girls state championship game.

Fayetteville took its first lead with a little more than a minute left in the third quarter, then made 21 of 22 free throws in the fourth quarter to pull away for a 69-58 win over North Little Rock on Saturday afternoon in the Class 6A semifinals at Bulldog Arena.

The Lady Bulldogs (19-11) advance to the final scheduled for next Saturday at Bank OZK Arena in Hot Springs. It will be Fayetteville's first trip to a state final since its double-overtime loss to Fort Smith Northside in 2021.

Fayetteville Coach Vic Rimmer said his group put together a huge change from the first half to the second half.
