Kele Luigs

Kele Luigs is entering her second year with the Purple Dogs after spending 5 years as the assistant volleyball coach for Springdale Har-Ber. While at Har-Ber, she assisted in 5 State Tournament appearances, with an appearance in the State Championship game in 2015. Luigs graduated from the University of Arkansas in 2008 with a Master of Arts in Teaching. While at the University, she was an outside hitter for the Razorback volleyball team earning All-Freshman team and SEC All-Tournament team honors. Coach Luigs grew up in Castroville, Texas and graduated from Medina Valley High School. She lettered all four years of her high school career, earning All-State Honors and All-District Honors. She was also named to the Greater San Antonio Volleyball Super Team and most recently named to the Top 50 Greater San Antonio volleyball players of all time. Coach Luigs and her husband Jonathan have two daughters Kenzie (6) and Klaire (2). Coach Luigs will serve as head 9th grade purple coach and an assistant varsity coach for 2018.
